This might sound like a weird question, but are you guys going to be there? I know in that past that we've had to leave while realitors have shown our houses, but I'd love the chance to say hello in person and check out the house! (Though as a super broke college student, I can't afford a house for another 20 years.)
ReplyDeleteWe will be there. It would be great if you could come, I'd love to meet you!
DeleteSorry if I missed it in the blog, but what's the address for the open house this weekend? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I could attend your open house. It would be soooo cool to see it up close and personal, however, Kansas City is just alittle too far away.
ReplyDeleteReading your posts and seeing the photos actually made me feel like I was there to share the triumphs and the "not so good stuff". (long nights painting, missed deadlines, yucky things in the walls etc.)
I have a feeling this house will sell on the first day !!!! Who wouldn't want to live here???
Best of luck this weekend, can't wait to hear the out come.

Wish you could be here! But I'll try and keep the photos updated! Thanks so much for the encouragement, it really means a lot. Especially on days when we're dealing with yucky things!!!
DeleteLaurel, this is just gorgeous! I want it!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jill. We've really enjoyed the whole process. Sorry we can't send it to you :-)
DeleteWow. This house is serious eye candy! I wish you could come and remodel mine! Good luck at the open house. I know it will be successful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous home! I love how much light you get and the floors look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Dal. Having the floors redone was truly transformational to the house. Worth every penny!
DeleteHi Laurel, hearing your success story really motivated us to try to sell our home ourselves. If you don't mind me asking, how do you handle the real estate contract process? is there a form that you use? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Lida - typically the buyer's agent will bring you a contract written on a standard state form (of course the rules vary from state to state). We simply used their standard form and it made it very easy for us.
DeleteBest of luck! Laurel
