Sneak Peek - Project No Name
Guess what? We're getting ready to start our new project! But I'm stumped on what to call it.
As you can see, it's a pretty nondescript ranch. Built in 1952, it hasn't seen updates in decades - so it's time for some changes! But just wait, it's got so much potential!!
But what should I call it? Ranch Renovation (boring name, I know). Ranch Revival? Am I too stuck on alliteration J How about Desperately Seeking Charm? I'd love to hear your ideas, because it's time to name it!

What's that tree in front? A maple? I'd try to work that tree into the house's name.
ReplyDeleteRanch Revival sounds good!

ReplyDeleteWell, if it was built in 52 and looks like that it's actually not a ranch! SO often I see folks describe these houses as such (especially realtors!) They are historically called Traditional Minimal. Our own Traditional Minimal house built in the same year is just called The Terrible House right now!
ReplyDeleteI am from the UK and this looks kind of like the houses from the Wonder Years, to me.

ReplyDeleteIt kind of reminds me of the house from the book, "the Little House" by Virginia Lee Burton. Maybe make it pink like the one in the book!
