The Boy's Room

I have a sister, two daughters and 3 granddaughters..... so pretty much zero experience with boy stuff.  Maybe that's why I love decorating a room for a little boy - because it's such a novelty for me!!  And this seems like the perfect house to have a room for a little boy.

I'm a bit of a hoarder and buy kid stuff whenever I see a good deal.  So this gave me an excuse to dig through the storage facility to see what I had that would work for the new project.

There are two options that might be a fun 'planes, trains and automobiles' kind of theme.  One is a navy blue duvet from Pottery Barn Kids that's pretty darned cute!

Which do you like best???  Light or dark background?

The other is a sheet set I found at HomeGoods - the blue and gray cars are nice too.  So what do you think?  Dark or light???

Whichever one is used, I have other accessories to add to the room.

And I want to stencil tire tracks along one wall - in keeping with the vehicle theme!  That has led to a flurry of Etsy shopping :-).
