I love that idea! Thanks so much for the tip! And I love the idea of aqua and yellow, I bet it's lovely.Laurelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18183168966431701470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-47787746584714050162014-02-27T18:48:17.974-05:002014-02-27T18:48:17.974-05:00We have twin 3 year olds whose room is yellow, aqu...We have twin 3 year olds whose room is yellow, aqua and just a couple of pink accents sprinkled around. We (and they!) love it!! Definitely put the crystals back on. Our girls have a mini chandelier with crystals and the way the light dances just makes the whole room sparkle!!Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03872706706236293405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-60246926915459696402014-02-26T15:01:29.210-05:002014-02-26T15:01:29.210-05:00I only have boys so cannot answer your question. I'm thinking no crystals on the light but then I've been blinkered by boys opinions for so long I may well be off on that one. Love watching the transformation of your properties.Katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05170342120030919320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-81911287854047787182014-02-26T08:54:29.858-05:002014-02-26T08:54:29.858-05:00Leave the bling on!!! Their clothes, their notebooks, their jewelry, etc. can't have enough sparkle. Just take a look at Pottery Barn Kids...a lot of their chandeliers have crystals.

Not sure about the wall color.

Good luck! I always love the end result of what you do, so you will make the right decision.Heather Nnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-70765959659883869782014-02-26T01:30:55.783-05:002014-02-26T01:30:55.783-05:00put the bling somewhere else in the room. that lam...put the bling somewhere else in the room. that lamp doesn't need crystals-they are all wrong for the design of the fixture-detract from the vining leafy texture of the lamp.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-75209314827533565182014-02-26T00:10:34.242-05:002014-02-26T00:10:34.242-05:00My daughter was, and still is at 26, a purple girl...My daughter was, and still is at 26, a purple girl. In my experience, purple is neck and neck in popularity with young girls. I think blue would be a better choice for the accent wall. It might make it easier to visualize the room as also appealing to a boy. Purple might be better as a 'pop' color, vs an accent wall. And I do really like the gray side of the comforter. It has so much more character! And yes or no on the crystals? It's funny to see how divided everyone is!! But small bulbs is intriguing!Laurelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18183168966431701470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-36379251951025437862014-02-25T21:47:10.721-05:002014-02-25T21:47:10.721-05:00So funny - I was thinking about a 12-14 year old g...So funny - I was thinking about a 12-14 year old girl!!!! :-)Laurelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18183168966431701470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-63173475872625825882014-02-25T21:28:48.232-05:002014-02-25T21:28:48.232-05:00Crystals on.Crystals on.Jan Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12200868370970054076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-47917016308790217452014-02-25T20:45:58.646-05:002014-02-25T20:45:58.646-05:00Crystals for sure, a girl can never have enough bl...Crystals for sure, a girl can never have enough bling. Even though I love the blue for the accents, I would use a purple for the wall. Gray side up on duvet, the white is boring and not as rich looking.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03213413981418759950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-12062663175689625762014-02-25T20:19:12.287-05:002014-02-25T20:19:12.287-05:00I LOVE THE SPRAY PAINTED LAMP. leave the crystals ...I LOVE THE SPRAY PAINTED LAMP. leave the crystals off though. that makes it look like a kitchen, dining room, entry hall fixture. it is so unique. maybe small round bulbs instead of pointy candles? bravo for not going "typical" with the colors. girls are much more than just pink princesses. and the family may have all boys anyway...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-19733143431952396232014-02-25T20:01:39.993-05:002014-02-25T20:01:39.993-05:00My vote would be to use a lighter shade of the col...My vote would be to use a lighter shade of the color of the Target lamp. Using purple will bring out the purple in the bedding quite a lot. Of course if that's your desire to showcase the purple, then go with a lighter shade of purple pulled from the bedding. I see a beautiful light gray on the other walls :-)Connie Nikiforoff Designshttp://www.cndesigns.biznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1918422105938650986.post-29510527674580407932014-02-25T18:20:54.414-05:002014-02-25T18:20:54.414-05:00My vote is purple.
